Come to our meeting! Every Wednesday at 6:00 at QPIRG (Don't be affaid: we are friendly!)

Plate club
THIS IS GOING GREAT!!!
We need more cutleries (30 knives and forks) for Friday
The plate renting at the cafeteria (SSMU building) is very successful (we rented 28 plates this week). People are very enthusiastic about it. We will start doing it on Mondays in two weeks.
We got some volunteer to do it.
Enviro-committee: Danielle will be our want a representative from the Plate Club. The Enviro-committe would like to integrate the Plate Club in SSMU for their room renting file (and maybe somewhere else).
We could put the renting form online (through SSMU website).
Danielle will create an email address.
It would be great to have a permanent coordinator for the Plate Club.
Michelle and Gabrielle will contact news papers after we get an email.

Adopt an MP campaign.

What do we do when a professor does not allow announcements?
We should take new roots for enforcing the paper policy!!!
-Talk to the principal and ask her to inforce the policy (Michelle).
-Send an email to the professor with the geeningmcgill address (Sophie).
Michelle will bring some notebook to AUS
Ideas for next year
One of the coordinator is leaving next year (Sophie)
Christine is welling to take the lead next year with the help of Huard and Saima.
Saima could be treasurer next year (or maybe Sunny??).
We could “create” new executive position (e.g. media contact)
We should try to involve more people (especially people from the list-serv)
We should organize the Kyoto Birthday March again next year. We could include that in the budget.

Workshop March 29 (in the evening)
We should advertise it.
Everybody is working on their part.

Workshop on Climate Change
March 24, 10 AM, 987 rue Côté, 4th floor
Volunteers from the "Greening of the Chinese Community", a subsidiary group of Sierra Club Canada, is presenting a 2-hour fun and interactive workshop this coming Saturday, March 24 th. The event is going to be held in Chinatown, and will be in English and Mandarin. This will be the first workshop delivered by this community-outreach group and they need all the support from the audience. Come out to support them and learn about climate change and daily lives!For more details, please consult the attached poster.Hope to see you there.
Panel on Climate Change
March 30, 5 PM, 3480 University street. (McConnell Building) Room 204
Borderless World Volunteers presents a panel on climate change composed of experts in the fields of atmospheric, environmental, and political science. Featuring McGill Professors Bruno Tremblay, Professor Ariel Fenster, and activist Cameron Stiff, panelists will be discussing the various dimensions of climate change from a scientific and political standpoint.
